ABOUT

I’m a visual designer specialized in textiles and prints – pattern and collection design, woven fabrics, materials and structures.

In Aalto University ARTS, I studied Master’s programme of Textile Art and Design. I have worked as a textile designer in Italian weaving mills as well as a designer and teacher in Aalto University. Currently, I’m teaching textile design in Metropolia UAS.

In textiles, my main areas of interest are pattern and collection design and woven textures – and especially advanced fil coupé techniques. Along with my background in textiles, I’m experienced in graphic design, illustrations and web design.

In my work, aesthetic, technique and material knowledge go hand in hand when it comes to quality design.
